Register now for Software Carpentry with R Workshop

Thursday, March 12 & Friday, March 13  |  8:30am-4:30pm  |  Schusterman Library Conference Room

Software Carpentry aims to help researchers get their work done in less time and with less pain by teaching them basic research computing skills. This hands-on workshop will cover basic concepts and tools, including program design, version control, data management, and task automation. Participants will be encouraged to help one another and to apply what they have learned to their own research problems. No prior experience with any of the software is necessary.

In this workshop, you'll learn how to program in R, automate tasks with the Unix Shell, and perform basic version control with Git. See the full schedule and additional information here.

The workshop will take place on Thursday, March 12 and Friday, March 13th at the Schusterman Library. Cost for the two-day workshop is $20. Lunch and coffee are provided both days.
