Introduction to the Unix/Linux Shell

DAVIS (the Data Analytics, Visualization, and Information Syndicate) at Bizzell Library is offering a free virtual workshop on Introduction to the Unix/Linux Shell. Tulsa-based students, faculty, and staff are welcome!

The Unix/Linux shell (or command shell, or terminal) is a powerful computing tool allowing users to combine existing programs and automate repetitive tasks. It is also key to accessing other computing resources such as supercomputers and remote resources. There are many shells available and this workshop will focus on the Bash Shell.
