Turn on the Light - Read a Banned Book at the Schusterman Library
Every year librarians, booksellers, publishers, journalists, teachers and readers come together to support the freedom to seek and express ideas – even the unorthodox or unpopular.
By focusing attention on efforts to remove or restrict access to books, Banned Books Week draws attention to the harms of censorship.

New Library Hours
Starting August 18th, we'll have new library hours, including Saturday mornings. Our new hours are as follows:
Sunday: 1pm to 10pm
Monday - Thursday: 7:30am to 10pm
Friday: 7:30am to 7pm
Saturday: 9am to 7pm

Thursday, August 8th
The Schusterman Library will be closed on Thursday, August 8 for staff development. The Library will reopen and regular hours will resume on Friday, August 9 at 7:30am. For our full hours, please visit our hours page.
Independence Day Hours 2019
In honor of Independence Day, the Schusterman Library will close at 6:00pm on Wednesday, July 3 and remain closed on Thursday, July 4. We will re-open on Friday, July 5 at 7:30am. Memorial Day Hours 2019
